Theo Browne Open-Sources tstack to Automate the Entire PR Lifecycle
Theo Browne open-sourced tstack, a collection of nine agent skills that automate the full pull-request lifecycle in Claude Code and Codex.
- Theo Browne open-sourced tstack, nine agent skills for Claude Code and Codex, MIT-licensed.
- Skills automate the PR lifecycle: filing, multi-model review, CI babysitting, rebasing, and merging.
- full-send takes a change all the way to merged autonomously; full-stop halts before merge for human approval.
- council loops reviews across three models from different providers until they converge on agreement.
- Install by copying skills into
~/.claude/skills/or~/.codex/skills/; requiresghCLI andpython3. - Skills compose through dependencies, and are designed as editable starting points rather than fixed products.
Theo Browne, the developer behind the T3 Stack and the T3 Code agent orchestrator, has released his everyday coding-agent skills in an MIT-licensed repository called tstack. Its nine skills work with Claude Code or Codex and automate pull request filing, CI monitoring, automated review, branch updates, and merging.
Skills package repeatable agent workflows
Agent skills are reusable instruction packages that a coding agent can invoke by name. Each skill centers on a readable SKILL.md file containing the workflow, tool usage, and supporting context. Claude Code loads skills from ~/.claude/skills/, while Codex uses ~/.codex/skills/.
Browne favors skills that run shell commands while loading and place the results directly into the agent’s context. He argues that this approach removes planning steps the agent would otherwise perform, allowing shorter instructions and more consistent execution.
