  • Sarvam Circle launched: Sarvam AI announces a formal enterprise partner programme with AWS, HCLTech, IBM, HP, BCG, Thoughtworks, Kyndryl, EY, MoEngage, and YCP.
  • Five partner categories: Cloud, strategic consulting, enterprise delivery, OEMs, and enterprise software -- each covering a different layer of the deployment stack.
  • Forward-deployed engineering: Sarvam's own engineers work alongside partners inside customer environments to move deployments from pilot to production.
  • Unicorn backdrop: Sarvam recently raised $234M at a $1.5B valuation led by HCLTech, and announced a 1-trillion-parameter model roadmap at its Epoch 2026 conference.
  • Market scale: India's AI market is projected to grow nearly 7x to $119B by 2032, with sovereign AI being a national policy priority under the IndiaAI Mission.
  • Strategic intent: The Circle is a direct commercial counter to OpenAI and Google's India ambitions, offering enterprises a sovereign, Indian-language-native alternative.

Sarvam AI, the Bengaluru-based startup building India's sovereign AI stack, has launched Sarvam Circle, a structured partner programme designed to carry its models and products into every major Indian enterprise and institution. The founding members read like a who's who of enterprise technology: AWS, HCLTech, IBM, HP, BCG, Thoughtworks, Kyndryl, EY, MoEngage, and YCP.

This is not a typical press-release partnership announcement. It is a go-to-market architecture built on top of a company that, just weeks ago, was announcing a trillion-parameter model roadmap at its inaugural Epoch developer conference. The Circle is how Sarvam plans to actually get that stack deployed at scale.

What Sarvam Actually Is

Sarvam AI is a Bengaluru-based, full-stack sovereign AI company founded by Vivek Raghavan and Pratyush Kumar in August 2023, built to create large language models, speech systems, and AI infrastructure specifically for India's 22 official languages and 1.4 billion people. The founders came out of AI4Bharat, a research collective focused on Indian language datasets, which gave them a decade of relevant groundwork before writing a single line of startup code.

By April 2025, the Indian government had selected Sarvam from 67 applicants to build India's first sovereign model under the IndiaAI Mission. The startup received access to 4,000 high-end GPUs for six months to build the model from scratch. Then, Sarvam raised $234 million at a $1.5 billion valuation, becoming India's newest AI unicorn, with $150 million of that coming from HCLTech as lead strategic investor.

The scale of what they have already deployed is striking. According to the company's own blog, the stack is running at over 2 million voice conversations a day, 35 million pages digitized, and roughly 10 million API calls per day on their own models, across public and private sector deployments.
