Runway's Agent 2.0 Turns a Single Prompt Into a Full Marketing Campaign

Runway Agent just got a significant upgrade. Agent 2.0 extends the platform beyond video generation into a fuller marketing production loop: you can now go from a single prompt to a finished marketing brief, generate campaign assets, analyze your performance data, and scale that creative across platforms, formats, and markets, all inside one conversation.

What changed in 2.0

To understand Agent 2.0, it helps to know what version 1.0 already did. Runway Agent is a conversational interface that handles the full video production pipeline: concept development, story beats, visual direction, multi-scene generation, voiceover, dialogue, music, and final assembly. That was already a big leap from prompt-to-clip tools. Agent 2.0 pushes further into the marketing workflow layer, adding the ability to generate structured marketing briefs and analyze campaign performance data to inform and iterate creative.
