  • Pi Pocket is a self-hosted, mobile-first web app for the Pi coding agent, MIT licensed.
  • Built on Pi Durable, so sessions checkpoint every step and survive server restarts mid-run.
  • Multiplayer with presence, invites, roles, and a side chat the agent cannot see.
  • Phone-native: push notifications, dictation, share-sheet input, PWA home-screen install, PiP watcher agent.
  • Four access modes: local, LAN, Cloudflare quick tunnel, Tailscale; Docker and Nix supported.
  • Caveat: Pi Durable API is experimental; session editors effectively get shell access on the host.

Pi Pocket is a self-hosted, mobile-first web app for running and supervising Pi coding-agent sessions from a browser. Developers can start work at a terminal, continue from a phone, and share a live session with collaborators. The project had attracted 621 GitHub stars at the time of writing.

Pi Pocket builds on Pi Durable, Earendil's experimental harness for long-running agents. The harness checkpoints conversations so they can survive process restarts and supports concurrent sessions with separate models, tools, instructions, and working directories. Pi Pocket adds a web interface, presence indicators, notifications, access controls, and mobile input.

A mobile control room for Pi

Pi Pocket persists model calls, tool calls, and subagent activity as a session runs. A server restart can resume work from saved state, while the browser provides a shared view of the conversation and its current status.

  • Mobile approvals and dictation: Review actions and provide spoken input from a phone.
  • Push notifications: Receive an alert when a run finishes or requires input.
