OhMyGame Turns Any Developer Into a Full AI Game Studio
OhMyGame is an open-source desktop studio where an AI agent drafts the design doc, generates art, writes code, and playtests the game for you.
- OhMyGame is an open-source Electron studio where an AI agent designs, builds, and playtests games end to end.
- Ships for macOS (Apple silicon) and Windows x64 under Apache 2.0, with roughly 1,500 GitHub stars.
- Bring-your-own-key model: 40+ coding providers via Pi, plus OpenAI, OpenRouter, Meshy and others for media.
- Beta 5 adds Claude Code and Codex CLI as agent backends, plus publishing plugins for platforms like Taptap.
- Workspace is plain files: Markdown design docs, JSON canvas nodes, standard web projects editable in any IDE.
- Supports web games (Three.js, R3F, Phaser), interactive stories as node graphs, and general projects in any engine.
OhMyGame is an open-source Electron app that combines game design, media generation, coding, playtesting, and publishing in one AI-agent workflow. A developer can ask the agent to draft a design document, generate art or 3D assets, implement the game, launch it, and interact with the result to find visible failures.
At the time of writing, the repository had accumulated 931 GitHub stars. The core workflow runs locally, with credentials stored on the developer’s machine.

One board, ordinary files
Every project appears on a visual canvas where design documents, concept art, 3D models, and video can sit together. The agent operates across those materials, carrying a project from planning through asset production, implementation, and a live-preview playtest.
The workspace behind the canvas remains a collection of standard files. Web games are regular web projects that open in any editor, design documents use Markdown, and interactive stories are stored as node graphs on disk. Project directories include an AGENTS.md file and JSON schemas that describe the expected structure, allowing the visual editors and agent to read and write the same representation.
