Manus Ships Semrush Connector So Anyone Can Run SEO Audits Without Dashboards

Manus just shipped a native connector for Semrush, one of the most widely used SEO platforms in the world. The integration means that anyone with a Semrush account can now connect it to Manus and ask for keyword research, backlink analysis, competitor traffic data, and automated recurring reports -- all in plain English, no dashboard required.

What the connector actually does

The integration is built on MCP (Model Context Protocol) -- an open standard that acts as a live bridge between an AI agent and an external data source. Instead of relying on manual inputs, static exports, or copy-pasted context, the AI can query the source directly, pulling real-time data as part of its response. In practice, that means Manus is not summarizing stale training data -- it is hitting Semrush's actual APIs on your behalf.

The connector covers Semrush's Trends API, Analytics API, and read-only Projects API. Six categories of Semrush data are accessible through natural language:

Connecting is three steps: open the connectors menu in any Manus session, select Semrush, and authenticate via OAuth. After that, Manus automatically selects the right Semrush endpoint based on what you ask -- no need to know which API call maps to which question.
