LiconStudio's Licon VBVR Fixes MiniMax H3's Worst Motion Failures
A community LoRA for MiniMax-H3 tackles the physics glitches that still plague image-to-video, cutting duplicated objects, clipping, and broken motion.
- LiconStudio released Licon VBVR, an image-to-video LoRA for MiniMax-H3.
- Targets three artifacts: object duplication, clipping and interpenetration, and incoherent character action logic.
- Trained on a reprocessed version of the VBVR-Pro-SFT-Video dataset, adapted to H3's pipeline.
- Base model MiniMax-H3 is a 33B omni-modal Transformer generating 2K video with native stereo audio.
- Apache 2.0 license, drop into ComfyUI/models/loras/ and load via standard H3 I2V workflow.
- Side-by-side validation clips comparing stock H3 vs H3+VBVR are published on the model card.
LiconStudio has released Licon VBVR, a community-built image-to-video LoRA for MiniMax H3 that targets object duplication, geometry collisions, and broken action sequences. The model repository provides the adapter weights and validation clips comparing H3 generations with and without the LoRA.
Object-contact errors can make generated clips unusable when a character picks up a prop, crosses a doorway, or interacts with another subject. Reducing those failures can lower the number of reruns and the amount of manual cleanup required in an H3 production pipeline.
LiconStudio trained the adapter on a rebuilt and reprocessed version of the VBVR-Pro dataset, adapted specifically for H3. A LoRA is a compact set of additional weights that changes a model’s behavior without requiring developers to fine-tune or distribute the full base model.
Three motion failures in scope
The model card concentrates on three errors that commonly appear during contact and movement:
- Object duplication: unintended copies of props or scene elements appearing between frames.
- Clipping and interpenetration: hands, limbs, objects, and surfaces passing through one another.
