  • Mobile launch: Kilo Code's app is now live on Google Play and the App Store for existing Kilo users, no new signup required.
  • Core features: Spawn Cloud Agent sessions, connect to remote CLI/VS Code sessions, monitor agents across platforms, and manage KiloClaw from your phone.
  • KiloClaw integration: The app serves as a remote control for KiloClaw, Kilo's always-on managed OpenClaw agent that runs in a dedicated VM with 500+ model access.
  • Scale: Kilo Code has 3M+ users and 40T+ tokens processed; the company raised an $8M seed round led by Cota Capital, co-founded by ex-GitLab CEO Sid Sijbrandij.
  • Pricing: The app is free for existing users; KiloClaw costs $55/month (Standard), Gateway credits range $19–$199/month; the core extension is free/open source (Apache 2.0).
  • iOS status: The iOS app is listed as "coming soon" on Kilo's website with a waitlist, despite being mentioned in the launch announcement alongside Android.

Kilo Code, the open-source agentic coding platform used by over 3 million developers, just shipped its mobile app on both Google Play and the App Store. The pitch is straightforward: your coding agents should keep running even when you step away from your laptop, and now you have a dedicated way to steer them from your phone.

What the app actually does

You can spin up a Kilo Cloud Agent, give it a task, and review its work from the chat -- full agentic coding backed by Kilo's managed infrastructure, without opening a laptop. That alone makes it more than a monitoring dashboard. Here is what the app covers:

  • Cloud Agent sessions: Start a new cloud agent and review its output directly from the chat interface.
  • Remote session access: Connect to a Kilo session running on your own machine via CLI or VS Code, send instructions, review diffs, and keep an eye on long-running tasks while away from your desk.
  • Cross-platform monitoring: A read-only view into sessions running outside the app -- CLI, IDE, Slack, or cloud -- so you can see what your agents are doing in real time, even when you cannot intervene.
  • KiloClaw management: Chat with your KiloClaw instance, update it, restart it, and manage its secrets from the app.
