Claude has always been a strong reasoning engine, but it couldn't generate a single frame of video on its own. That just changed. Higgsfield AI has launched an MCP server that wires its entire creative platform directly into Claude, giving the model access to over 30 image and video generation models without leaving the conversation. Paste a product URL, describe a shot, or drop a reference video, and Claude handles the rest.
One chat, every model
MCP, short for Model Context Protocol, is an open standard developed by Anthropic that lets AI agents securely call external tools. Think of it as a standardized plugin system: any tool that builds an MCP server can be accessed by any MCP-compatible AI client. Before MCP, connecting an AI to an external API required custom integration work every time, including wrapper code, authentication handling, error management, and ongoing maintenance. Higgsfield's implementation removes all of that.
Once the two are connected, Claude can reach every model and feature on the Higgsfield platform from inside any conversation, which means you describe the shot you want and Claude takes care of choosing the right model, configuring the parameters, firing the generation, and bringing the finished clip back to chat. Higgsfield gives your agent access to 30+ models including Soul, Cinema Studio, Flux, Seedream, Kling, Minimax Hailuo, Veo, and more, and the agent automatically selects the best model for the task, or you can specify one yourself.
Six tools inside the connector
The MCP server exposes six distinct capabilities, each mapped to a real production workflow:
- Video Analyzer , paste any reference video and Claude breaks down its structure, shot composition, and pacing
