Google has launched two new features -- a direct Google Business Profile integration and a new Business notebooks workspace -- that together turn Gemini into something closer to a business operations partner than a general-purpose chatbot. The announcement was made at the Google for Brazil event and the rollout is already underway globally.

Google Business Profile integration
The latest integration for the Gemini app is Google Business Profile -- the service that lets business owners manage their presence, including customer reviews, in Google Search and Maps. This access turns the Gemini app into an "AI assistant that actually knows your business" with access to reviews, customer questions, and performance data. To connect, you simply type @ in the Gemini app and select "Google Business Profile" from the dropdown.
