ClawFlows Replaces Fragile AI Agent Cron Jobs With 113 Ready-Made Workflows
A new bash-based workflow system ships 113 prebuilt automations for OpenClaw agents, from inbox triage to overnight builds, installable with one curl command.
PRO- ClawFlows ships 113 prebuilt agent workflows for OpenClaw, installable via a single curl command.
- Each workflow is a plain-text WORKFLOW.md file with YAML frontmatter and natural-language instructions.
- Enable and disable operate via symlinks, keeping community files immutable and updates safe.
- Scheduling uses plain English like "7am" or "every 2 hours" instead of cron syntax.
- Categories span inbox triage, meeting prep, dev tools, smart home, and overnight code generation.
- MIT licensed, 1.7k stars, with a CLI for creating, testing, and submitting custom workflows.
A new open source project called ClawFlows targets a specific pain point for people running personal AI agents: the moment you want your agent to act on a schedule, you end up gluing together memory files, cron jobs, and heartbeat prompts, and the whole setup turns fragile. ClawFlows replaces that with a plain-text workflow format, a bash CLI, and a growing library of ready-made routines you can flip on with a single command.
The repo has already crossed 1.7k stars and ships with 113 prebuilt workflows enabled in one click, spanning smart home, inbox processing, meeting prep, dev tooling, and overnight code generation.
What it actually is
Under the hood, ClawFlows is deliberately unglamorous: a Bash CLI for OpenClaw workflow automation, where users enable pre-built or custom routines that an AI agent can run on-demand or on a schedule. Each workflow is a folder containing a single WORKFLOW.md file with YAML frontmatter (name, emoji, description, schedule, author) followed by natural-language instructions for the agent to follow.
Enabling a workflow does not copy files around. The enable command creates a symlink from enabled/name to available/community/name
