Perplexity is bringing its Personal Computer agent to Windows, pushing its bet that the next AI battleground is not a chat box but the desktop itself. The product is pitched as an always-on AI agent on your Windows desktop that works across your local files and Microsoft apps, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and OneDrive. Access will start with a waitlist for paying Max and Enterprise Max subscribers.

This is the Windows version of a product Perplexity already shipped on macOS. Personal Computer is not a chatbot grafted onto a sidebar.
