# Higgsfield AI Gives Claude 30+ Video Models in a Single Chat

> Higgsfield's MCP server plugs 30+ video and image models directly into Claude, turning a chat window into a full creative production studio

Claude has always been a strong reasoning engine, but it couldn't generate a single frame of video on its own. That just changed. [Higgsfield AI has launched an MCP server](https://higgsfield.ai/mcp) that wires its entire creative platform directly into Claude, giving the model access to over 30 image and video generation models without leaving the conversation. Paste a product URL, describe a shot, or drop a reference video, and Claude handles the rest.

## One chat, every model

MCP, short for Model Context Protocol, is an open standard developed by Anthropic that lets AI agents securely call external tools. Think of it as a standardized plugin system: any tool that builds an MCP server can be accessed by any MCP-compatible AI client. Before MCP, connecting an AI to an external API required custom integration work every time, including wrapper code, authentication handling, error management, and ongoing maintenance. Higgsfield's implementation removes all of that.

Once the two are connected, Claude can reach every model and feature on the Higgsfield platform from inside any conversation, which means you describe the shot you want and Claude takes care of choosing the right model, configuring the parameters, firing the generation, and bringing the finished clip back to chat. Higgsfield gives your agent access to 30+ models including Soul, Cinema Studio, Flux, Seedream, Kling, Minimax Hailuo, Veo, and more, and the agent automatically selects the best model for the task, or you can specify one yourself.

## Six tools inside the connector

The MCP server exposes six distinct capabilities, each mapped to a real production workflow:

- **Video Analyzer** , paste any reference video and Claude breaks down its structure, shot composition, and pacing
- **Marketing Video Generator** , drop a product URL and get a polished launch video
- **Soul Character Training** , train a reusable character from reference photos and maintain identity consistency across campaigns
- **Cinematic Image to Video** , animate a still into a clip using presets like Bullet Time or a 360° camera move
- **Viral Clip Generator** , feed a long-form YouTube video and get trimmed, subtitled vertical clips for TikTok
- **Virality Prediction** , score a video's hook strength and retention risk before publishing

Output goes up to 4K resolution and videos up to 15 seconds across multiple cinematic styles, and you can generate from text prompts, reference images, or a combination of both.

## The problem it actually solves

Creative production has looked like an assembly line for years, with one tool for writing, another for design, a third for video, and yet another for distribution. Every handoff between those tools cost time and lost context along the way, which is why most production timelines are dominated by integration work rather than the creative itself. MCP collapses the line into a single thread.

Traditional UGC-style video ad production requires coordinating with creators, reviewing footage, and iterating on scripts, often over days or weeks. At $100 to $500 per video from a creator marketplace, testing 10 ad variations costs $1,000 to $5,000 before knowing which one performs. AI-generated video variations can be produced in hours at near-zero marginal cost per variation.

## Where it shines, and where it doesn't

What separates Higgsfield from general image tools is its emphasis on outputs that look native to social platforms. A Higgsfield-generated UGC ad doesn't look like a polished corporate video, it's designed to look like something a real creator posted. For agencies, that's the difference between content that scrolls past and content that stops thumbs.

That said, the use case has real limits. Brand awareness formats with high production quality expectations are a weaker fit for AI-generated video. AI-generated video works best for content where message and pacing matter more than production authenticity. If your campaign depends on a real human face building trust, this isn't a full replacement yet.

There's also a latency consideration. Video is not a synchronous API. Submit a 4K Veo 3.1 job and it takes three to five minutes. The MCP exposes a wait-for-job pattern, and Claude submits, sleeps, checks, and surfaces the URL when ready.

## How to get started in three steps

1. Open Claude and go to **Settings → Connectors**
2. Add a custom connector named **Higgsfield** and paste the URL: `https://mcp.higgsfield.ai/mcp`
3. Click **Add → Connect** and sign in with your Higgsfield account

Add the Higgsfield MCP server URL in your agent's settings and authenticate through your Higgsfield account. No API keys to manage or configure. Higgsfield MCP works with Claude (web, Cowork, and Claude Code), OpenClaw, Hermes Agent, and NemoClaw. If you're running Claude Code, Higgsfield recommends using their [CLI interface](https://higgsfield.ai/cli) instead.

## What it costs

Higgsfield tools use the same credit system as the Higgsfield platform, and each generation costs credits based on the model and resolution. Higgsfield AI offers a Free plan, Starter at $15/month, Plus at $49/month ($39 annual), and Ultra at $129/month ($99 annual).

The credit math matters more than the plan price. Kling 3.0 costs roughly 6 credits per video, while Sora 2 and Veo 3.1 cost 40 to 70 credits each. On the Plus plan ($34/mo, 1,000 credits), that translates to about 167 Kling 3.0 generations or just 14 to 25 Sora 2 videos. If you want to create image-to-video, you will at least need a Plus account.

## The bigger picture

Higgsfield is the AI media company behind Soul (photorealism), the Cinema Studio physics simulator, and a video roster that has dominated creator feeds since late 2025. Higgsfield also owns the cultural moment around signature effects: bullet time, earth zoom, and the transition library that taught half of TikTok how to cut a hook. Higgsfield AI is a multi-model video generation platform founded by ex-Google Brain engineers in 2023, and per reporting on its January 2026 Series A extension, reached a valuation in the $1.3 billion range.

The real unlock here isn't just speed. With multiple MCPs in one Claude Code session, Higgsfield MCP generates the creative, Meta MCP ships it to ad sets and pulls performance back, and Shopify AI Toolkit drops assets onto product pages and updates metafields. Without the distribution rails, Higgsfield is a faster Photoshop. With them, it is the creative arm of an autonomous merchant. That's the trajectory the whole agentic stack is moving toward, and this is one of the clearest working examples of it so far.

For anyone building content pipelines, running paid media tests, or managing brand assets at scale, this is worth a serious look. The entry point is low, the setup takes under five minutes, and the gap between "describe it" and "download it" has never been shorter.
