# GooeyPi Unifies Pi, OMP, and Prime Agent Into One Open-Source Desktop

> GooeyPi wraps three terminal coding agents in a single Electron desktop app, giving Pi, OMP, and Prime Agent a shared cross platform GUI.

Terminal coding agents keep getting better, but their command line interfaces remain a barrier for anyone running several side by side, managing sessions, or handing a task off between tools. [GooeyPi](https://github.com/am-will/gooey-pi) is a new open source Electron app that puts three of the most active terminal harnesses under one roof, with a shared window for chat, files, terminals, browser, and scheduling.

The project describes itself as [a desktop workspace](https://github.com/am-will/gooey-pi) for Pi, OMP, and Prime Agent that gives all three coding agents the same friendly interface on macOS, Linux, and Windows while leaving each harness in charge of its own models, logins, and saved sessions. It is MIT licensed, written in TypeScript, and available as a prebuilt binary or a source checkout you can run with `npm run dev`.

## Three harnesses, one window

The three tools GooeyPi wraps come from different corners of the same family tree. [Prime Agent](https://github.com/PrimeIntellect-ai/prime-agent) is an RLM-native coding and research harness built around a persistent IPython kernel, recursive subagents, durable sessions, and a multi-process local runtime, layered on top of pi. [OMP](https://github.com/can1357/oh-my-pi) (Oh My Pi) is a fork of Pi that adds a batteries-included coding workflow with LSP integration, browser control, and hash-anchored edits. Pi itself is the original harness both were forked from.

GooeyPi detects whichever ones are installed on your machine and shows them in a switcher in the top left corner. Each harness keeps its own projects, sessions, model list, provider visibility, and running work. Switching harnesses changes the workspace without stopping work already running in another one, and credentials and provider logins stay in the CLI you already configured.
